Participate in international collaboration on gathering or measuring data for the SDGs
The university's cooperation with international organizations to collect or measure data related to SDGs is as follow:
1. The Department of Mathematics (professors cooperate with scholars from Japan, Canada, Russia, Turkey, and other countries to conduct medical big data research, and published a total of 9 SCI journal papers in 2019).
2. The Department of Physics (the synchrotron radiation team signed a contract with the National Space Center to build an advanced radiation technology experimental station, which can be used for the development of nanomaterials and energy technologies for the benefit of mankind).
3. The Graduate Institute of China Studies (cooperates with the Asian Free Election Observation Association to conduct election observation tasks and implement sustainable social development).
4. The Department of English Language and Culture (cooperates with international scholars to conduct local research and presents at international conferences).
5. The Office of Research and Development (there are 9 research projects on sustainable development goals that the university cooperates with internationally in 2019).
6. The Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs (data collection on SDGs-related issues through research cooperation, workshops, and work camps with 232 international partner institutions).
7. USR Project Office (cooperate with the Education Centre of Community in Cambodia to promote high-quality education and sign a cooperation agreement. Professors and students of the university visit the local area for teaching activities regularly).
