The university records or preserves intangible cultural heritage through the establishment and maintenance of the "Tamsui wiki", publication of local related publications and exhibitions, local video recording, and technological interaction methods. The relevant actions are as follow:
1. Establishment and maintenance of the "Tamsui wiki": The Department of Information and Library Science maintains three digital co-authored information platforms: Tamsui wiki, Taiwan BaseBall wiki, and Taiwan Basketball wiki, to preserve the local culture of Tamsui.
2. Published relevant local publications and curated exhibitions: The College of Liberal Arts is concerned about the history and culture of Tamsui, develops Tamsui research and studies, and assists in the recording and preservation of local cultural-historical materials. The Department of Chinese Literature "淡淡" magazine, conducts visits and records of cultural and historical sites such as Danhai New Town, Tamsui Grocery Store, Bok Su Lao Coffee, XingRen River, Shih Family Historical Residence, etc. The Department of Mass Communication "Tán lí lâi'' Local News Lab in Tamsui: Zines and Posters Exhibition" connects with the local contexts of Tamsui, showing students' observation and care.
3. Local Video Recording: The Department of Mass Communication utilizes all-recorded video data of the Tamsui area and uses trailer editing to support the promotion of short films on different platforms; "Tamkang News" records traditional culture and folklore related activities, including temple crafts, community reconstruction, manpower ferry, gongs and musical instruments, toy factories, puppet show, Beiguan music, etc.; "Tamkang Online News" publishes local founding publications, documenting the cultural significance of Tamsui Traditional Martial Arts Hall and Cheng's Ancient House; "Tamkang Video Art Workshop" preserves the traditional film processing, magnification technology and teaching; it has inherited the previous creations such as "Annals of Services Provided by Village Chiefs and the USR Program " and "Annals of New Inhabitants". Professors of the Department of Mass Communication recorded 8 school teachers in the Tamsui area with images and formed a documentary "Annals of Excellent Teachers," trying to introduce the educational goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development (SDGs) into the Tamsui area by utilizing digital technology and lenses to record humanism
4. Technological Interactions: The Department of History participated in the "Sino-French War of Tamsui in 1884" at the Tamsui Heritage Museum and the New Taipei City Tamsui Environmental Art Festival, and led the public to understand the context of history through technological interactions.
