6.4.2) Water reuse measurement
The total amount of rainwater collected accounts for approximately 0.4% of the campus’s total water usage. The reclaimed water is used for campus irrigation, floor cleaning in buildings, and toilet flushing. This not only reduces tap water consumption, thereby lowering campus water electricity expenses but also serves as a practical component of environmental education, turning the campus into a living classroom for environmental teaching.
In the future, the university plans to continue expanding the installation of (rain) water recycling facilities to further increase the rate of water reuse on campus.
