4.3.3) Vocational training events (lifelong learning)
Host events at university that are open to the general public.

    In addition to in-service master’s and doctoral programs offered by various colleges and departments, the university sets up the Office of Continuing Education to provide various vocational training courses and educational activities for people outside the school, including:

    ◆Various national certification training courses are conducted in collaboration with government agencies, such as the "Public Construction Quality Management Training & Retraining Course" for the Public Construction Commission and the "Site Supervisor 220-Hour Professional Training & Retraining Course" for the National Land Management Agency of Ministry of the Interior; the “Wastewater (Pollution) Responsible Personnel Training," “Waste Disposal Technician Training" and the "Environmental Agent Technician Training" commissioned by the Environmental Professionals Training Institute, assisting environmental companies and specific industries in setting up specialized personnel for environmental protection to ensure the sustainable development of environmental protection and safety. In the 2022 academic year, a total of 93 classes were conducted, training 3,745 professional technical personnel.

    ◆The Office of Continuing Education has been approved by the Ministry of Finance as an "Entrusted Private Organization for Training Professional of Private Participation in Infrastructure projects" to provide "Training Class for Professional for Private Participation in Infrastructure Projects" to personnel from government agencies and private organizations, aiming to enhance their knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to private participation in public construction in Taiwan. In the 2022 academic year, a total of 3 classes were conducted, training 142 individuals.

    ◆The Office of Continuing Education received approval from the Ministry of Labor to conduct “Industrial Human Resources Investment Program Courses,” offering various skill training programs. These include career transition, development of secondary specialties, and vocational training for workers to enhance their skills and competitiveness in the workplace. In the 2022 academic year, a total of 8 classes were conducted, training 202 individuals.
