Under the concept of "Sustainable Governance," Tamkang University, with the "Center for Sustainable Development and Social Innovation" as a hub, collaborates across all colleges to nurture the university's "Sustainability Competence" education and is dedicated to designing and promoting teaching innovations.

Sustainability competence education aligns with the trend of competency-based learning and actively addresses the global STEEP new normal. It connects the sustainable transformation of professional courses from various colleges and offers exploratory learning through the course "Exploring Sustainability." This course guides students through the processes of social awareness, participation, and innovation, enriching two core competencies: "Exploratory Literacy" and "Sustainability Literacy." The goal is to cultivate future sustainable citizens through Tamkang University’s education.
