4.3.1) Public resources (lifelong learning)
Provide access to educational resources for those not studying at the university – e.g. computers, library, online courses, and access to lectures.

    The university provides educational resources for visitors. According to the free trials and paid methods, the instructions are as follow:

    1. Free Trials: The university holds "OpenCourseWare" general and lecture courses that are open to the public free of charge, and the total number of viewers reached 250,000 as of today. The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) produced 6 various courses, free of charge and open to all online users. In terms of library resources, visitors may use their national ID card or driver’s license to enter the library. Visitors may use the various collection of books and periodicals for free. The European Union Information Center (EUi) is set up in the library, and in addition to the official EU publications, books and periodicals on European and EU research topics are also provided, furthermore, electronic newsletter (free subscription) are also available for the public to consult and use.
    2. Paid: The Office of Continuing Education offers Lohas courses to provide elders a place to learn, and also offers physical and online Chinese courses for foreigners to study. The Office of Information Services offers services to visitors to rent computer classrooms for a fee. In 2019, there were 33 rental applications from 18 off-campus units, using a total of 1,172 hours. Charges are made for the use of library equipment (Computer NTD 100 per hour). Visitors who apply for a library card (deposits and service charges required), may borrow books, audio-visual materials, and use electronic resources free of charge.
