8.2.1) Employment practice living wage
Pay all staff and faculty at least the living wage.

The university formulates working conditions in accordance with government labor-related laws and regulations.

Calculated in August 2021, the average salary of the school's appointed personnel is about NT$ 34,521 a month and NT$39,330 for a clerk, which is much higher than the current minimum basic wage of NT$25,250 set by the Ministry of Labor. According to the salary information platform of the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics of the Executive Yuan, the average salary of staff or technical staff at our school is NT$ 59,809, which is higher than 70% of the average of employees nationwide. The average salary of commissioners or editors, which is NT$73,139, is higher than 80% of the national average salary. The average salary of staff above the rank of an editor is NT$80,787, and an additional NT$14,700 will pay to those who take duties as an executive or secretary, making it higher than 90% of the average salary of employees nationwide. Therefore, the salaries paid by the school to the faculty and staff are sufficient to support basic living needs.

In addition, the school regularly distributes salary on the 25th of every month, and a year-end bonus is issued following the principle of year-end bonus payment in military and public educational institutions. At the end of each school year, assessment bonuses, excellent staff bonuses, and special merit bonuses will be issued according to the staff’s school year assessment. Those who have no record of being late, leaving early, or being absent from work during the school year will receive attendance bonuses.
