12.2.7) Disposable policy
Ensuring these policies extend to outsourced services and the supply chain.
The university requires that all food and beverage suppliers of the on-campus cafeteria and food court must be abined by a contract to ensure that food quality, environmental hygiene and safety comply with the "Food Safety and Hygiene Management Law" of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, "Guidelines for Good Food Hygiene Practices," "Institute Hygiene Law," "Hygienic Management Measures for College Restaurant Kitchen Staff and Student Consumer Cooperatives," "Guidelines for Food Hygiene Management in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education," "New Taipei City Food Safety and Hygiene Management Autonomous Regulations," and relevant provisions of the university's food hygiene management regulations. It is also necessary to log in to the campus food registration platform promoted by the Ministry of Education and provide information for inspection by the competent educational authority or the health authority.
The university requires the cafeteria and food court to restrict the use of disposable tableware. Plastic bags, disposable chopsticks, disposable spoons, and othe single use product are not provided. Restaurants opened for eating-in do not provide disposable plastic straws.
