In addition to in-service master’s and doctoral programs offered by various colleges and departments, the university sets up the Office of Continuing Education to provide various vocational training courses and educational activities for people outside the school, including:
1.Various types of national certification training courses.
◆The "Public Construction Quality Management Training & Retraining Course" for the Public Construction Commission and the "Site Supervisor 220-Hour Professional Training & Retraining Course" for the Ministry of the Interior's National Land Management Agency.
淡江大學推廣教育處公共工程品質管理人員回訓班◆The "Waste Disposal Technician Training" and the "Environmental Agent Technician Training" commissioned by the Environmental Professionals Training Institute, assisting environmental companies and specific industries in setting up specialized personnel for environmental protection to ensure the sustainable development of environmental protection and safety. In the current year, a total of 109 classes were conducted, training 3,188 professionals.
淡江大學推廣教育處甲級廢棄物處理專業技術人員訓練班2.The Office of Continuing Education has been approved by the Ministry of Finance as an "Entrusted Private Organization for Training Professional of Private Participation in Infrastructure projects" to provide "Training Class for Professional for Private Participation in Infrastructure Projects" to personnel from government agencies and private organizations, aiming to enhance their knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to private participation in public construction in Taiwan. In the current year, a total of 3 sessions have been held, training 142 individuals.
3.In-Service Continuing Education Courses
◆Chinese Digital Teaching Workshop: Introducing hybrid teaching methods, hardware and software equipment, to improve a teachers' teaching mobility, creating a highly interactive classroom. A total of 3 classes were held in 2021, serving 98 teachers.
◆MOS Certification Training and Examination: TKU is authorized by Microsoft to offer MOS professional-level license courses and conduct license examinations every year to provide students and people outside the school with opportunities for further study.
4.Vocational training course for the visually impaired:The Visually Impaired Resource Center of the school provides information literacy skills training on programming, accessible networks, and databases for the visually impaired, assisting them in job transition and career counseling.
